Family News!

We have barely had time to breathe since our daughter, Niamh ("Neev") was born.  A web page seemed like a solution to sharing information and photos!  But you know how these things go...a little bit of creativity here a little craziness there and before you know it we are sharing a little bit about everyone with everyone! But that's o.k. - we have enjoyed puttering around the computer with baby on lap!

Warren is going on his annual fishing trip in May and to Denver for his AIA convention.  In June the family will go to Lawrence, Kansas while Warren participates in the AUA (Assoc. for University Architects) conference.  We are looking forward to seeing old friends and a change of scenery.  Maybe a stop in St. Louis on the way home will complete the trip!

Andy is starting work soon and bowling on a summer league.  Kent has a new girlfriend, Amie, is finishing up his first semester of college and taking the summer off from classes to work fulltime at Best Buy. He is taking good care of his new car but would love to have more cash in his pocket.  All things in due time, Kent!

Pam and Paul just returned from a trip to Iowa to celebrate Easter with Paul's family.  P&P got away by themselves and flew to Vegas for several days and we hear the girls were as good as gold for Mimaw and Papaw and that the Easter Bunny didn't forget to stop in Iowa! They are letting the girls get acquainted with the horses at Keeneland and will be there on Derby Day.

Eric and Rebecca and Donnie dropped in for a visit.  They are all well and cheerful.  Rebecca home-schools Donnie and their school year will end sometime in June.  Rebecca is also helping care for her ill grandmother and she and Donnie spend 3-4 afternoons a week with her.  While it must be exhausting, it is a loving gesture toward family.  Eric is getting the boat ready for summer (as we are!) and planning to paint the trim on their house.

Charlotte and Linda are up to their eyeballs in duck feathers!  They are caring for quite a few injured birds, nursing them back to health.  Charlotte's been on the road for various nursing obligations and Linda is recovering from minor surgery on her shoulder.

Niamh is growing into a beautiful daughter, laughing and squealing (in between the crying!).  She is very alert and a distinct personality is beginning to emerge in her.  We are nothing short of delighted!

To read in more detail about our family, be sure to link to each individual's page, accessible from Warren and Carol's Homepage.  Oh - and don't forget to sign the guestbook before you go!  Thank you for stopping by for a visit.  We hope to hear from you again soon!
